Zephaniah in "Race" issue

Interviews with Benjamin Zephaniah, Lemn Sissay will feature in the next issue of Citizen 32, themed on "race".

The "race" issue, which will be launched in the late autumn, is already taking shape with contributions from Zephaniah, Sissay and Daljit Nagra.

Zephaniah talks about his poetic origins as well his new novel for teenagers and the story behind his refusal to accept an OBE.

And Lemn Sissay, who is adapting a stage version of Zephaniah's "Refugee Boy", will also be talking about his own work and his Manchester roots.
